My Baby Girl is 8 months old and still sweet.
Can hardly believe this little lady is now 8 months old!! It’s so fun to capture her personality in photographs!
1 week old and PERFECT ….
It’s Been Awhile, but I’m back!
Here’s another post for this weeks theme over at I heart faces! I’ve been a little AWOL lately because I was pregnant most of this year and not doing much in the way of photo shoots. And I had my lovely little girl on Sept 6th just a mere 6 weeks ago and have had some fun taking pictures of her. And amazingly enough I have a few I could choose from for this, it was hard to decide but I really like this shot of her …..
So peaceful while she’s asleep. And everything about her is just PERFECT!
And I’m hoping to be making a more regular appearance here now. Trying to adjust back into life with a newborn
and not just any newborn but my 4th daughter and 6th child altogether. That’s what I’ve been up to lately.
My First Wedding Photo Shoot …
A long story on it’s own, but the short version goes something like this. I knew the bride, asked her who her photographer was going to be and I happened to know that lady as well. Asked the photographer if I could go along as a second shooter to this wedding. I did this about three months before the wedding was to take place, or maybe it was just two months. Oh well. The day before the wedding, the photographer who was due Jan. 1st 2011 to have her 4th child had an appointment at which some procedures were done and she was starting to have contractions. Uh?? What??
She called me that afternoon and asked me if I was still serious about going and wouldn’t mind being the “photographer”. HUH?? Are you kidding me!!?? I was so NERVOUS to say the least. Because HELLO, this was a wedding we were talking about.
Luckily the parents of the bride understood the delicate situation at hand and were very patient with me. And the bride and groom as well.
So after all was said and done, I discovered I had captured a few shots that I just love !!
This here collage I created of some of my favorite pictures from the day, is sized to be 20×23.
‘Tis the Season ….. for Photo Cards
So I’ve spent a few more minutes or so with Photoshop and designed a few more cards. Different Family Different Styles.
I’ve created them using different card sizes, and tried to use colors from the pictures themselves. (Mostly). Now to work on my own Christmas Card.
The Ka’aumoana Family
The other morning we got lucky and had a clear day where we could attempt a family photo session. This family was so much fun, and they know how to have fun. I especially liked the little guy!! However, we had unexpected company show up for the photo shoot also, and that visitor seemed to steal the show from then on out. It was a four legged friend of the feline variety. Thanks again for letting me “shoot” you.
Orange Week over at I heart Faces
Okay so this week I’m joining in with
photo challenge. I actually have something that fits the theme!! Just yesterday we went and tried
our second attempt of getting family pictures done. I being the aspiring photographer,
and my husband wanting to save some moula
decided we’d use our tripod and a remote and take a stab at doing our own pictures.
My kids don’t like to cooperate for anything, but luckily we had a few pictures that turned out.
Here’s just one of them, with more to come later.
So be sure to swing by I heart faces and check out the other entries.
Welcoming Stephen …
I had so much fun taking this guys picture !! He’s so special because he has 6 older siblings that all love and adore him!!
